Chayton smiled, the sun was hitting him just right to make him smile, and his cream colored fur glowed softly against the dazzling white snow. His emerald green gems were closed from the world and he lay utterly still, almost like a statue, he moved every once in awhile. Looking like a dead wolf was his specialty, chayton often played jokes on other wolves because he couldnt resist tormenting innocent souls passing by. At this point in his life Chayton's pack, Ciell'eau, had grown used to his jokes so he had taken it outside the packlands and to the ruins.
The ruins were beautiful half destroyed structures that made Chayton think that the wolves had not been the first to live in these lands. He wondered what great wolves had been here-- creatures who had powers over the elements, with wings and gills. Oh what a fabulous life he could live with wings. He so often wanted to jump and miss the ground.
"..." he held his breath as a creature drew near to where he lay upon a stone table, it smelled of old blood so it was safe to assume someone had died here or was murdered... how quaint! "..." they smelled nice, fresh and ciy like the snow which was begining to blanket everything it touched. Which unfortunately now placed any holes filled with snow and danger!
Of course if someone did get hurt he would instantly blow the joke and leap in to save them! Of course! No? Ehh.... yes! He would do so.

Being brought to the ruins made Kulay on edge. She hated this creepy feeling like something was watching her. She knew about the history here in the ruins. A lot of poor inoccent wolves had died here, and though it was beautiful, Kulay still hated that eiry feeling.
' Just keep walking, get to a rock where the sun is hitting itso you can get warm. Block out the eiry feeling of someone watching you.' Kulay kept thinking. Kulay pased by more than a few rocks with sun, but thought that they were a little smal. So she kept walking, serching for one. But her search can to a stop.
There was a wolf, who looked dead laying on a big, grey rock only a few feet infront of Kulay. Being a caring little thing, she ran up to the wolf. When she got closer, she noticed that the rock was a little big, she she could only put her front two paws up there, and layed her head down. " H-hello?" Kulay said, pocking this big brute with her nose on his head. Kulay looked at the male, hoping that he was alive, and not dead. She hated seeing a dead wolf. Even if it was someone she did not know.
Waiting for the resspons, or not a ressponse, Kulay just layed her head down on her two front paws, Both back paws were in the deep briliantly white crystal snow. It looked like Kulay was a domestic dog trying to reach something on the counter. But she would not be able to get on the rock without jumping, and Kulay did not want to.

"Hello beautiful!" Chayton half jumped into a role so he had his muzzle on her front paws, "How are you this fine day?" his emerald eyes glittered like two bright gems in his pale cream colored face, he was laughing and it was a beautiful laugh that made him handsome despite him being five years old and getting up in age for a common wolf.
The femme in front of him was rather cute but he knew that she was a fighter-- no wolf without some skills would dare venture into the ruins for this place was unstable. As if to prove him right the ruins groaned and far away a stack of rocks toppled over with soft plops in the deepening snow. Chayton's laughter quieted down to being just a few snickers, he was still grinning as he leaned closer.
"Did I scare you cutie?" he asked slyly, she was cute, and from her scent was very fresh and smelled like pine and frozen water. He instantly knew who she was-- Kulay of Aeroica the newly appointed sub-alphess. Word traveled fast around Istlamyth especially for those who were highly ranked. He himself was a captain of Ciell'eau!
A captain... what did those wolves do again? He commanded the spies, warriors and sentinels of Ciell'eau and sometimes even over the Betas! Obviously a captain was the hard working version of the Beta. Sometimes he wondered if he should become the Beta of Ciell'eau... currently Chayton knew there was none.

The sun was starting to go down in Istlamyth, and it would be dark soon. But Kulay's mind didnt have time to wonder to that, because this male who might have been dead rolled over and said, " Hello beautiful." Kulay jumped back, and landed in the snow, right no her back in a pile. So her top half was supported and her bottom half wasnt.
Kulay heard and saw him laugh. It was Chayton, captin of Ciell'eau. Kulay knew him because of his smell. Getting up, Kulay let a smirk take place on her face. " Did I scare you Cuite?" He asked, and Kulay glared at him. 'NO you didnt scare me at all, I just like to fall on my back in snow when someone who I thought was dead moves!" Kulay thought. But she wouldnt dare say that. After all, that was not lady like, or sub alpha like. So she decided to just settle for. " Yes you did scare me. Why were you acting dead? That really is not smart." Kulay said, with a small amount of venom in her voice.
Kulay hoped back up on the rock like she was before, and watched the male named Chayton very carefully. ' So he finds it fun, and funny to play practicle jokes? Well then we'll see what happens.' Kulay thought, awaiting for his reply to her little venom like resspons.

Chayton smiled, he was probably making her angry but that was okay, he thought it was a rather funny joke, after all he was perfecting everything for the pups back home, "Because it's fun!" he winked and sat up to lick down his ruffled chest fur which was the color of light cream.
'That really is not smart.'
At this comment Chayton smiled, he was not the brightest wolf but then again he was the captain of Ciell'eau so she could take that up with his superior about his knowledge. He was number one when it came to determine a foes weakness and strengths, about putting together battle tactic but not femmes. Hopeless romantic...
"I don't mind not being smart," Chayton gave her a smile as he hoped down from the large ruin to another smaller one just a few feet away, his pawsteps making prints in the snow, "Sometimes life is better not knowing," at this Chayton looked up into the sky, the sun was sinking and he knew the reason for coming out here would soon be upon him,.
"So if this is such a dangerous place why would a little fae come on out?" Chayton put an exaerrated tone on 'dangerous,' his maw twitched into a little line, she must be playing him. No way was she this clueless and chayton wondered what she was planning, should he be scared? But Chayotn knew one thing that was fluttering in his chest:
He was excited.

Kulay watched as the brute got up and hoped down to a smaller rock. Off in the distance there was a tumbling that one could have mistaken for thunder. But Kulay knew better, it was the tumbling of a land slide. But when Chayton started to talk, and as he asked why she came to the ruins, Kulay smiled. " Well it is getting dark, right? I came here to look and watch the stars. I am quiet in love with them." Kulay said, smiling as she looked up at the darkaning clounds. " And I can tell you dont mind not being smart." Kulay said, her voice in a joking tone.
Kulay turned, and started to walk to another rock. A better on where you could see more in the night sky. Kulay turned her head around to look at Chayton. Smiling, she hoped up onto a bigger rock that was higher than Chayton's. " So what brings you here Chayton?" Kulay said, wondering if he was here for the same resson as her. Looking up at the sky, Kulay layed down on the cold snow covered rock. Waiting for Chayton's reply, Kulay thought about what was out there. But before she started to think about what was out there, she started to have a flash back.
- Flash back-
Braz, come on. Lets go!" Kulay said to Braz. But he wouldnt come. Kulay thought it was because he knew she loved him. The next day he was gone.
Shaking, Kulay came out her her flash back. Still looking up at the sky, waiting for his response.

Chayton smiled, and rolled on to his back to stare into the darkening sky-- it was a deep shade of indigo purple and eventually pink, orange and then yellow near the thin line dividing him from what lay underneath the sea line and out of sight. He had come to witness the winter aurora... last time he had been here was with a beautiful fae by the name of Raeve.
"I came to stare at something beautiful," Chayton barked, "The winter aurora is most beautiful on clear winter nights and in the ruins. they just seem to add to the ambiance, dont they?" he didnt really ask Kulay but mainly to himself and the fragment of Raeve in his mind which was begining to speak again:
'Can you see it?'
'No all I can see is white, I hate white...'
'Does this mean you hate winter Rae?'
'I love green, and for my favorite color to come into the world is through this season...' she looked down at her snow colored paws.
'Look up,' he barked and nudged her, and Destiny followed his gaze to the rainbows of cool hues playing across the sky. He had smiled, because for the first time that season he had gotten the glum look off her face.
Chayton was back in the present, "Yes indeed..." he muttered, green eyes filled with stars.
