Bracken and Thorn ;; The Mires
This area of tangled, brushy flatland is vast. Once, it was a thriving wetland. Now, the water is stagnant and brackish, and the plants that grow here are twisted and struggling to survive. Still, there is some fresh water, which makes its way in from the river, as well as grassy, raised areas. Small prey such as rabbits can be found on the edges occasionally, although for the most part the mires are misty and silent.
